About Us

We love the great British Country Pub. It's a cultural institution and you won't find them anywhere else in the world. As a nation we are losing far too many, and once they're gone they never come back. So when our local, The White Horse, closed in 2021 we were absolutely determined to bring her back to life.

We are a really close knit team of well trained, dedicated folks who are all working towards the same goal. Liz is the Landlady and Chef, helped by her partner Russ who works as a draughtsman and designer along with their dedicated team of locals who are also pub enthusiasts.

After an extensive refit, the White Horse Inn opened on the 21st November 2022 with a simple mission to provide the best service in a cosy atmosphere, the best kept beer in the area and honest home-cooked real food at a good price
